Considering how the feds have all our online data and the ability to read damn near anything we write online, I do not understand how a missing child does not give probable cause to go through that child's recent cell phone activity and GPS location logs of a child's cell phone. Not to mention last know GPS location of a child's cell phone and cross reference it with all other cell phone GPS located within 100 feet of a missing child's phone.

Most cars now even have GPS tracking on them, so even that can be tracked against a child's last known location of their cell phones.

I understand how every child may not have a cell phone and all, but seriously this is 2019 and it seems the feds still expect everyone to believe their ability to find a child is limited to 1980s technology. The FBI found the Boston bombers within hours, using wifi imagining and pin pointing who was around the detonation point within the time frame of the explosion.
