I also was previously confused by the height of a doorknob, till someone explained it.

The scarf/tie/rope actually goes from the knob up to the top of the door, then the noose is hung on the other side, way higher up.

That's interesting, but it doesn't seem to hold any water in my opinion. If there was recorded evidence of it being a pedo symbol, wouldn't it be on the list of pedo symbols the FBI released? I'm not saying your wrong, I just want a bit more proof before I make a judgement.
