One thing I don’t understand, flying drones over a private property and filming blatantly is forbidden, never mind that fbi and nypd are at work in that private property. One would think that they’d try to track rusty and confiscate the drone including the footage. Yet this does not happen and the vid gets uploaded. I’m not complaining and extremely happy to get to see all this but what am I missing?

No... When the drone first approached the window and saw people inside... The drone pilot was very cautious about trying to get close to the window and to get a nice horizontal angle for the camera. It took him a minute or two to get the drone locked into the right spot. It seemed like it took much longer than was necessary. But then again, the drone pilot has probably lost a fair number of drones because of piloting errors. And there would be no way to recover the drone if he crashed it into something with the FBI on the property and pissed that he was snooping on them.
