My question: why does a guy who pleaded guilty to making child porn of toddlers in his licensed daycare need a disciplinary hearing? Why don't they just levy the fine and boot his out out? WTH?

My apologies @vindicator - I posted this last night in anger after my wife & I read the details. This part of the case is about revoking his ECE designation - the teachers are members of this organization - pretty much a cash grab since they are required to renew yearly and pay a membership - It basically allows them to add "ECE" after their name on their business cards. This hearing in April is a waste of time, money & resources. The POS is guilty of disgusting crimes - a hearing about pulling his ECE accreditation is pointless. The facility where he worked - MCRC - is not his daycare. It is a licensed daycare with major ties to the Region (Halton Region - a regional/municipal level of local government who provides funding).

This matter has been so "hush-hush" that I find it unbelievable it does not get more coverage. As I said, I'm surprised this POS is not dead. I do not know his jail details but he must be under some heavy duty confinement.
