This movie goes deep into Kim Fowley and Rodney Bingenheimer as well as looking at Lloyd Kaufman. It documents the abuse of teenage all girl punk band The Runaways who had the hit "Cherry Bomb" featured in Hollywood blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy. Joan Jett was a member of the band who went on to have a succesful solo career.
