Giving this the Old News flair, to add clarity to the headline.

How come you were having trouble posting? Did it lag and forget your input when you hit Submit? That happened to me a few times with comment replies. I've gotten in the habit of selecting all and hitting ctrl-c right before submitting, so I've got it if it hangs up. I hate composing offline and then copypasting, for some reason. You may want to consider making a v/voatdev submission describing the problems you are having so that Putt knows.

Often, while I am composing the submission, the tab just crashes. Thoughts? And thanks for your help.

What happens to me is I type the whole thing up in the submit window, click submit, and then the tab hangs and the screen goes blank, never moving to the Sent screen like it should. I figured it's just because I have dozens and dozens of tabs open at the same time, with a plug-in for Firefox that puts tabs to sleep that I'm not using. I've just gotten in the habit of copying everything to my clipboard before I hit submit. If the page hangs, I just refresh the screen and resubmit, pasting in my source text fromthe clipboard.

If you are having the same problems without a plug-in that puts tabs to sleep, however, we should definitely file a report at v/voatdev .

Ok i see now that all of the HRC emails are listed under the one Clinton file and i will go through those. Where are the rest of these documents from then?

Is this page accessible from Wikileaks' main page? Is it some sort of index?

All i know is i found it at the link I posted at the top of my submission. It was a long list of just names of website URLs in alphabetical order, but they weren't links.

It's a files index which has not changed for some time and can be seen to have existed (via web.archive.org) for a very long time.

This is not a "new dump". Claims of this being new were circulated on twitter and voat (among others) about a month or 2 ago, but it is a demonstrably false claim.

With all of that said, the list is very useful and I fully encourage everyone to sift through it at their convenience for anything which may be of assistance in any given probe into corruption and/or trafficking or institutional pedophilia, etc.

@argosvic thank you for the info. Why would the list I mentioned be on that website?

Short answer:

Convenience for accessing and distributing all files regardless of which page of the website displays the files' content.

Longer answer:

The files are stored in a particular directory which is accessible via file.wikileaks.org. Visiting that link directly lists the files index of the folder which that subdomain points to. In that folder we have a folder called file. In that folder, we find the list of folders which contains files corresponding to particular publications/dumps/categories.

If Wikileaks wanted to disable the ability to browse this file/folder index, it would be incredibly easy to disable the default index display functionality (a very rudimentary process in terms of website development). They have chosen not to, presumably for the aforementioned purpose of user convenience.
