In case you are confused, this is the post @HeyG3orge is referencing. http://archive.is/KiBje This is a prime example of how fake news is created. 1. Take a topic that people want to hate (Chaz) 2. Take some similar bad actions by other people and modify them slightly (A leader of Chaz abused her girlfriend and Antifa held a banner years ago supporting pedophilia so say that the leader of Chaz is a pedophile) 3.Make it from a "credible" anonymous source (police officer) 4.Say you can't support your claims because doing so would get someone in trouble. (In this case, implied as officer demanded that he not be named.)

Good reminder of the fake news methods. I'm not convinced this is fake news, however. The guy's rap sheet is miles long.

Also, that tweet claimed he'd been "arrested for drugs, guns, pimping and crimes against children" and is on a "federal child porn watch list". Sex offender registries only list convicted sex offenders -- neither of which were claimed here. The only child porn watch list I know of is the one maintained by NCMEC for law enforcement, but I doubt that is available to the public, since it's a CP image bank.

Arrest records can likely be verified, though.
