That is a valid concern. Aether doesn't host images or videos or stuff like that. It only hosts text, it is like an index. You can enable the client to view images linked by text on the blockchain, but you don't have to do that. People use blockchains all the time, like Bitcoin's or Ethereum's. You can set how much resources you want to allocate to it for storage etc.

Lol “Kevdude” another blast from the past. Anyways, thanks for posting Vindy. Thank you!!! Nice to know I won’t be without you guys bc I wouldn’t know how to exist without you guys. I love all of Voat but Pizzagate’s how I found it in the first place and it’s been a part of my life ever since (7-8 yrs). Let’s all do our best to stay together.
